The Influences of Feeling of Preparedness, Mentors, and Mindsets on Preservice Teachers’ Value of Teaching Practice

چکیده

The present study examined how preservice teachers’ perceived value of teaching practice is influenced by their feeling preparedness, perception student growth mindset, mindset about ability, and the support they receive from mentor teachers. We analyzed data 227 teachers three universities in Southwest Nigeria for this study. In line with extant literature, mentoring positively mediates relationship between preparedness experience. essence, more PTs feel prepared, are likely to perceive benefit and, consequently, Additionally, we found that higher believe could change influence success. Consequently, also observed PT’s students’ mediated however when holding constant, two variables were not significantly related, except through mediator. concluded implications findings, recommendations, direction future research.
